Arcane Games and Events will host Battle Hardened San Diego and the final AGE Open Series Tournament for the 2024 season at the San Diego Center on August 24-25, 2024. The event promises an exciting weekend of intense battles and games for Flesh and Blood enthusiasts in the beautiful city of San Diego.

Schedule

  • 9:45am - Player meeting.
  • 10:00am - Pairings posted for round 1 of Swiss. Deck lists collected from players after they have been seated for round 1.
  • 5:15pm - At the conclusion of the final round of Swiss, there will be a cut to the Top 8 players who will progress to a Top 8 single elimination playoff.
  • 9:00pm - Prize ceremony at the conclusion of the Top 8 playoffs.

    Tournament Information


    The following information will apply to both Battle Hardened: San Diego and the August AGE Open Series Tournament

    Decklists

    Decklist required and will be collected during the players meeting.

    Blank deck sheets will be provided at the venue, and can also be printed here.

    Swiss Rounds

  • Swiss rounds are best-of-one.
  • Swiss rounds are 50 + 5 minutes in duration. (50 + 5 means there are 5 minutes allocated for the start of game procedure. Players must have presented their deck and revealed their equipment and weapons within this 5 minute window. If both players complete the start of game procedure in less than 5 minutes, they may begin playing their match immediately.)

    • Top 8

  • Top 8 playoffs are single elimination, best-of-one matches.
  • Top 8 matches have no time limit. Players are expected to play at a reasonable pace and Slow Play penalties will be enforced.
  • For each Top 8 match, the player that finished higher in the Swiss portion of the event chooses to play first or second.

    • Decks

  • Decks must be Constructed legal as defined by the Card Legality Policy.
  • Players may not change their registered deck during the tournament.
  • Deck checks will be conducted by event staff throughout the tournament.
  • It is the responsibility of each player to ensure there are no distinguishing marks or patterns on their cards or card sleeves for the duration of the tournament. Vendors will be onsite to purchase sleeves if required.

    Parking


    A 1,950-vehicle underground parking garage is situated below the building. The lot is owned by the Port of San Diego and managed by ACE Parking, offering 31 ADA-compliant parking stalls with elevator access to the Convention Center.


    Convention Center Parking


    You can enter the parking garage on Harbor Drive. There are no in-and-out privileges. Overnight and RV parking are not permitted.


    Parking rates range due to event activity and payment is due upon entry. ACE Parking sets the rates.


    Downtown San Diego Parking


    On the corner of Harbor Dr. and Park Ave., there is a 2,000-space parking structure adjacent to the Hilton Bayfront.


    Off-site parking is available at numerous nearby parking lots and garages in downtown San Diego, and many are within walking distance of the center.


    Metered street parking is available in some areas. City of San Diego parking meters are enforced Monday through Saturday, from 8am until 6 pm, unless otherwise posted. Metered spots are free on Sunday and designated holidays. The Port of San Diego also has parking meters along the Embarcadero and surrounding areas. See information about Port meters.
